Superb Locations for Superb Summers - Brittany 4 Beaches
Summer Holidays in Morgat, Crozan Peninsula, Finistere, France
Formally a fishing village, Morgat is now a small attractive seaside resort, with a fashionable marina, on the Crozan peninsula on the far North West corner of Brittany.

Its setting, amongst heather and broom covered cliffs, with fabulous sea views is hard to beat and it is a good base for exploring this lovely part of Brittany. As this is a peninsula you can experience both Atlantic surf beaches and calm coves for swimming as well as picturesque estuaries for sailing

Morgat has a magnificent cresent of pine fringed golden sand, with rocky outcrops. At low tide large rock pools form, where you can find sea stars, sea anemones, and where children, and adults can go crabbing. Explore the large caves in the cliffs exposed at low tide, or catch a boat from the quay side to visit the other grottoes, accessible only by sea.

The cliff walks are magnificent and the water is crystal clear.

There are many other lovely beaches nearby.
The Crozon peninsula has Atlantic-facing beaches for surfing  as well as lots of sheltered beaches for swimming - some best reached by boat, but others easily accessible.

In the south of the peninsula are the  Aber - calm waters of tidal inlets, which face west and are noted for their sunsets. There are many sailing schools in the area.  The Aber is part of the Natural Park and is a bird sanctuary.
