La Flotte ( see map ) is a pretty little village, centered around the picturesque harbour with wide quaysides lined with cafes and restaurants specialising in fresh fish and seafood. The homemade icecream parlour is also worth a visit.
There are sheltered sandy beaches either side of the harbour , with grassy areas, promenades and childrens play areas. This is a good place to start/finish or interrupt your bike ride.
La Flotte is home to a thriving market, which has been based in there since medieval times.
